Your Best Images Are Not Always Your Best Portfolio
This is one of the biggest lessons I have learned through portfolio curation.
You can select 50 incredible photographs and still create a weak gallery.
Why?
Because curation is about relationships.
If you show five similar portraits in a row, each image loses some of its impact. If every photograph has the same crop, the gallery starts to feel repetitive. If every image carries the same visual weight, the viewer never knows where to pause.
A strong wedding photography portfolio creates contrast.
Pair an intimate detail with a wide landscape. Follow a quiet portrait with movement. Give an emotional photograph room to stand on its own.
You do not need to show everything.
You need to show enough to make someone want to see more.
