Garden party wedding ideas are some of the most common trends we are seeing now as outdoor weddings are more popular than ever. I had the pleasure of photographing behind-the-scene photos for this styled shoot at The Collins Off Main. The Collins Off Main is a modern wedding venue near Ann Arbor. As a matter of fact, it feature spacious bright white ceremony and reception space. In this post, you will see many gorgeous, unique and intentional garden party wedding ideas. Hopefully, they will help inspire your wedding day!
Inspiration
Inspired by Italian gardens, this editorial shoot was styled by Janelle from Hazel & Gray. Unquestionably, Janelle and her team had a unique vision as to what elements and details they wanted to incorporate in this shoot. From dreamy floral jewelry to handmade coasters, this shoot has it all. In fact, it was incredible to see how all these amazing creatives on the team created the magic together!
Handmade Floral Jewelry
First off, be amazed by these artful floral jewelry made by Susan McLeary, owner of Passion Flower Sue, a design studio specializing in floral fashion and jewelry. In fact, it was truly an honor to be able to showcase Sue’s work. In particular, her floral jewelry are made of delphinium, porcelain berry and frilly tulips. Truly, the creativity in her floral jewelry is just magical!
Cascading Florals
Next, this string of flowers floating above the table echoes the coastal vibe and the garden party theme. Honestly, I have never seen this type of floral arrangement at weddings before. I am impressed by how well the fresh flowers stay together. Clearly, it takes a lot of patience and skills to assemble it!
Turquoise Cake With Fresh Flowers
Now, let’s talk about the most beautiful wedding cakes I’ve ever photographed! Again, Sweet Heather Anne stole the show with this modern turquoise cake adorned with fresh flowers! Without a doubt, Sweet Heather Anne always makes a bold statement in a way that the average cake can’t.
Luxury Wedding Invitation
In addition, this minimalist wedding invitation by Angela from Plume and Proper is also my favorite day-of details. I had so much fun styling it with fresh floral accessories!
Gorgeous Floral Wedding Bar
And who’s to say you need to settle for an ordinary bar set-up? Liz from Betsy & Bobbie extended the floral theme into the bar with fresh florals! So, if you are looking for bold and modern floral design, do yourself a favor and reach out to Liz! She is one of the sweetest and talented floral designers I’ve ever met.
Signature Cocktails with Handmade Coasters
Speaking of wedding bar, don’t forget to include signature cocktails that speak to your personal tastes. As you can see, Cloud Nine Bartending did such a wonderful job. This custom cocktail complements the handmade coasters by Carter Wood Studio so perfectly.
Finally, I hope you enjoyed browsing these behind-the-scene photos I took! While I was modeling in this photoshoot at the same time, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to photograph these stunning work!
