As a Detroit Proposal Photographer, Cranbrook House & Garden is one of the most enchanting locations I have had the pleasure of working at. This beautiful venue offers a picturesque setting that is perfect for capturing the magic of a surprise engagement proposal on film. Styled Engagement Proposal Session

The Love Story: Red Thread of Fate
Kunal and Ritika’s journey is a testament to the red thread of fate. They knew each other as toddlers but were separated when Ritika’s family moved out of state. They miraculously found each other again in college. The did not realize their past connection until Kunal’s mom saw a picture of them together and revealed the incredible coincidence. This heartwarming story laid the foundation for a proposal that was as unique and beautiful as their journey.
Consultation and Planning
To begin with, we offer consultation meetings with Kunal. We meticulously planned every aspect of the proposal. We crafted a narrative where Ritika would follow a red thread leading to heart-shaped rose petals, symbolizing their journey and connection. The setup included a whimsical flower basket, a celebratory picnic complete with a charcuterie board and champagne, and loose petals along the garden path. This thoughtful and elegant setup ensured that the proposal was not only beautiful but also deeply meaningful.
Design Development
Also, we developed a design to highlight the venue’s natural beauty while adding personalized touches. The color palette featured pastel tones of green, red, pink, and yellow, with bold accents in the same hues. We created two standalone floral ground meadows using seasonal greens like bupleurum and bells of Ireland for height, perfectly complementing the serene and historic backdrop.
