Hi! I’m Chinling!

Temple Theatre Michigan Wedding

As a Saginaw wedding photographer, I could hardly contain my excitement when Lauren asked me to photographer her Temple Theatre wedding. After my first Zoom meeting with Lauren and Kyle, I knew they are a dream couple to work with! If you know them, you know the way Kyle adores Lauren is so genuine. And where do I start with Lauren? Lauren’s sense of style is impeccable. She is also a talented graphic designer! Most importantly, they are both so kind, stylish and super thoughtful!

A month ago today, Lauren and Kyle tied the knot at Holy Cross Lutheran Church on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Their day was filled with budding flowers, elegant details and, of course, smiles from this sweet couple. Lauren’s stunning Maggie Sottero wedding gown from Lola’s Bridal Boutique truly reflects her natural elegance. The bridal bouquet from Flowers by Alaina compliment the divine dress perfectly. On top of that, Lauren did a great job mixing it up with mismatched bridesmaid dresses by choosing the same color in different dress style! In particular, those gorgeous dusty sage dresses matched the greens of their bouquets.

After the ceremony, we headed to the Castle Museum and Hoyt Public Library with the bridal party for gold hour portraits. These two historic and striking buildings provided the perfect backdrop for dreamy portraits, scroll to see what I mean!

Castle Museum

To begin with, we started shooting bridal party portraits at the Castle Museum of Saginaw County History. Rich in history, this French Chateauesque building is breathtaking – its grayish-white Bedford limestone also helps to create the bright and airy aesthetic in their portraits.

Besides, to capture some epic, sweeping cinematic perspective shots of the museum, we invited our drone pilot, Brian, for some breathtaking drone wedding photos and videos.

Hoyt Public Library

According to Society of Architectural Historians, “together with Hoyt Library, the Castle Museum and Hoyt Library formed a block that would serve forever -as an emblem of nineteenth century grandeur.”

Temple Theatre

The reception at the Temple Theatre ballroom in Saginaw demonstrated their wedding vision perfectly. In particular, the crystal chandeliers set a dramatic and magical atmosphere for this memorable celebration. Also, their caterer, Horizons Conference Center, certainly did a wonderful job. And gosh! Above all, Casey from Rusch Entertainment is phenomenal! He made sure everything went smooth and kept the party going. From the bottom of my heart, I am beyond grateful to be a part of this dream team. You and your family made me the luckiest wedding photographer, Mr. and Mrs. Jahnke!
